A sister of Philemon (Charles) HILTON, Alice HILTON (1858-1923)married Augustus P. HUGHES (aka August, Gus, Gustus, Gust) 9 Aug 1881 in Cass Co., MI. Augustus & Alice lived at 325 Virginia Ave., Elkhart, Indiana per the 1900-1920 censuses. Is there any possibility that this Augustus is related to the Kate HUGHS who married Philemon (aka Charles) HILTON?
