Hi. I am trying to locate information on William Hughs that married Elizabeth Wilson in Simpter Co., AL in 1842. Then, in 1850 Lauderdale, MS lists them as follows:
Wm Hughs..35 m b. AL
Elizabeth..26 f b. AL
Eliza..7 f b. AL
Nancy 5 f b. AL
Margaret 2 b. F MS

They must have migrated to Arkansas, because she is found in Conway County, AR in 1860. At this time, she is married to Harry May. I can only assume that Wm. had passed away between the two census dates.
