Moses Hughlett (1789-Aft. 1870) & Elizabeth Allen

One of my collateral Allen ancestors was Elizabeth Allen, daughter of Sampson Allen and Jane Ritchey of Cumberland Co., KY, born 1800. She married Moses Hughlett. They were listed together in the 1870 census for Weakley Co., TN under the name Moses Hulet. They must have died before 1880 because I cannot find either in the 1880 census. They had the following sons: Ralston W., William W./N., Alfred B., James, Samuel and Millien? Brown. They families spread out into FL, IL and TX. Most of the Texas Hughlett descend from this couple.

Does anybody have any informion about the the Allen family of Elizabeth Allen who married Moses Hughlett (Hulet)? Elizabeth's father was Sampson Allen. Sampson Allen was one of 11 children of Robert Allen, Jr., (1741-1788) of Augusta Co.,VA, a Revolutionary War soldier, and his wife, Jane (Jean) Turk. After Robert Allen, Jr.'s death, Jean Allen moved with her 11 children from Augusta Co., VA, to Cumberland Co., KY (about 1798). Robert Allen, Jr's father was Robert Allen, Sr., circa 1715-1790, of Augusta Co., VA. Both Robert Allen, Jr., and Robert Allen, Sr., were born in Ulster Province Ireland (now Northern Ireland) and were Scotch-Irish Presbyterians.
