Hi Ron!

I thought I would post a follow-up here so it can be referenced in the future if someone is searching for the same family line.

Solomon Barnett Hughes was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama in 1853. He married Tennessee Belle McDonald, born 1865 in Texas. Solomon and Tennessee met and married in Arkansas in 1882. I am assuming it was in Sevier Co, AR since Solomon is found living there with his brother, Marion, on the 1880 census and Tennessee is also found living in Seiver Co with her parents on the 1880 census. In 1900 they are found living in Rich Mountain, Polk Co, Arkansas. Sometime between 1907 - 1910 they relocated to Muse, LeFlore, OK where they are found on the census with their children.

Sometime between 1910 - 1917 they then moved to Missouri. I have located the death certificate for Solomon Hughes in Fornfelt, MO and he is buried in Illmo, MO but unfortunately it does not state now long he was a resided there. After his death Tennesee and the youngest 3 children relocated to Venice, Illinois where they are found on the 1920 census. Tennesee died in 1921.

That is all the information I have. Since they moved around so much I am not able to locate any land records or biographical sketches for them, but I would assume they lived in LeFlore Co. for a short time period.

I have hit a brick wall in my search for Solomon's father. I know his name was Franklin S Hughes born in North Carolina in 1813 and he married Sarah Amelia Barnett, but that is all I have been able to find. My search continues.
