...The next case called was that of Hugh M. Hughes of Granville, NY, against the New England Fire Insurance Co. of Rutland. Two witnesses were examned for the plaintiff. The case is an action to recover on an insurance policy for a boarding house burned at Pawlet. Jones & Rice and F. S. Platt of Poultney appeared for the plaintiff and Butler & Moloney and J. C. Baker for the defendant. The court took a recess until 9 o'clock this morning.
