Hi Mervyn,

What part of Eastern England do your Huggins ancetors come from? I know of several clusters of Huggins in the region - Warboys in Huntingdonshire; Melbourne in Cammbridgeshire, and various locations in Norfolk.

If you do ever have a DNA test taken I would certainly be very interested to see if we have a match. I don't know if you are a member of ancestry, but they have a offer on at the moment (or certainly Ancestry.co.uk do - don't know if its all the ancestry sites) where they are offering DNA testing at half price. Also if you are on ancestry, you should join the Huggins DNA group, as it's also a forum to share trees, old family phot's etc.

Regards,
Colin Huggins
