Huggins Family Genealogy Forum

There is a new Huggins DNA group formed at Ancestry.com.
The aim of he group is to allow Huggins researchers to look for common Huggins ancestors, using DNA, as well as more traditional methods. I would encourage anyone with Huggins ancestors to join, as the more people posting trees, photos, and (if you have tested) YDNA results on the group, the more useful a resource it will be. I am a Huggins, and have taken a 46 marker YDNA test, the results of which are available on the site (alongside others who have also been tested), but you do not have to have been tested to join. I have also posted my collection of early huggins photos (mainly from the 1890 - 1900 period), memorial cards, parish register extracts, etc.
The beauty of YDNA testing is that it can supply proven links to others with the same surname, when the paper trail of parish registers has run out, or seemingly hit a brick wall.
