Nadine, I don't think this is your family but it's possible you may connect to a brother of : Adam Binbow Huggins born about 1789 died 11 July 1870.He had two sons one a Jack Huggins and the other William Beaty(Beatie) Huggins born April 9, 1828 and died 15 Oct 1899.He married Rutha Mariliza Jane Strickland on Sep 13, 1854.They had the following children:
1.Roxyann Parthany Huggins b. 9 July 1855 d. 10 Mar 1898 m. 2/22/1883 George Washington Locke.
2. John Henry Thompson Huggins b.16 Sep 1857 m. Dec 16, 1877 Malissa Agnis Hargett.
3. Thompson Adam Benjamin Huggins b. 4 Dec 1859 m. 9 Apr 1892 #1. Hattie E. Dean #2. Henrietta Ann Burt (widow) her maiden name was Gaskill, they married on Sep 7, 1903.
4.William Tolivar Torrance Huggins b. 18 Apr 1862, d. 17 Jan 1931 m. Annie Harper.
5.Martha Emly Elizabeth Huggins b. 7 Nov 1865 m. May 12, 1882 Benjamin Franklin May.
6.Sarah Emelee Huggins, b. 20 Mar 1868. m. Dec 24, 1891 Rufus Hamilton Bynum.
7.Mary Malissa Carrifornia Huggins b. 15 Jan 1870 d. 15 Dec 1895 m. Monroe M. Miller.

I don't have any information on Adam Binbow Huggin's brother Jack Huggins but I did hear that his family lived near Denton, TX.Should be able to find them on the census records.You may want to contact the Sherman Library in Sherman, Tx.They have a great collection of old records.
