Capt. John HUGGINS, SC, Rev War,Col. Silas' Reg

Can anyone enlighten me as to the line of Captain John Huggins, listed as serving in the Revolutionary War in Colonel Hugh Silas' regiment?

I found his name listed in the back of "Short History of Marlboro County Couth Carolina 1600-1979" complied by Margaret Mclaurin Ricaud Kelly, published in 1979. His name was part of a list of RW soldiers listed in the Archives of Couth Carolina.
