Barry:
I've read most of your posts as well as those of Alice Beard concerning Hufford. One post noted the deaths of George Hoffart/Hufford and his brother John. I've been unable to find a source altho some of the Ky. feuds sites provide interesting reading. Can you put me in a particular direction. Scott, Harrison, and Woodford Co. sites I visited were no help. Also, the Rush Co. Hufferds have always believed George was the father of William David Sr.,(1799-1867). We had his(George) birth about 1766 in Woodboro, Frederick County, Maryland death is listed only as between 1816 and 1856 either in Fayette County, KY or Rush County, IN. I don't find him buried in the Matlock Cemetery which was on the farm owned by William David Hufford, Sr. which is south of Rushville, Ind. I've also failed to locate a death certificate.
