Trying to track down the parents of Jacob Huffman b.@ 1760-1770 in VA, married Susannah Miller, Nov. 4, 1786, daughter of Jacob Miller Jr. and Rebecca Yager. Susannah's paternal grandparents were Jacob Miller Sr. and Barbara Ott (?), Jacob Miller Sr. was the founder of Woodstock, VA. Rebecaa Yager was the daughter of Adam Yager and Susanna (?), she was a sister to John Yager Sr. of the Piney(Piny) Woods. Her brother Joseph married Barbara Miller daughter of Jacob Miller Sr. and his wife Barbara Ott.Following the death of Jacob Miller Jr., his widow Rebecca married Matthias Zehring.
Jacob Huffman and Susannah Miller had my descendant Joseph Huffman, b. 1802-d. 1870-1880, married Margaret Smith, and they had Jehu Stewart Huffman, b. 1842, d. 6 July 1883.
Any information would be greatly appreciated as I have been unable to find anything.
