My mother was able to find the following will for Lydia Huffman dated 1815 in Pennsylvania. Looking for relatives/descendants named in Lydia Huffman's will: her son John Parker, her son David Jonson, her son Jacob Johnson, her son Moses Johnson, her daughter Mary Stinson, her granddaughter Lydia James, her grandson Moses Johnson. Partial Page Number: 38 or 88 (portion of first number cut off of photocopy. The Last will and Testament of Lydia Huffman, In the Name of God Amen. I Lydia Huffman of Fayette County and State of Pennsylvania being in perfect health of Body and of sound & disposing mind, memory && understanding --- Considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time where and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs and thereby be the better prepared to leave this world when it shall please God to call me hense: do therefore make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner and form following, viz - First and principally I commit my soul into the hand of the Living God, and my Body to the Earth to be decently buried at the Discretion of my children; and after my debts and funeral charges are paid I devise and Bequeath as follows biz: I give & bequeath -- unto my son John Parker the sum of of fifty cents -- Item I give and bequeath unmto my son, David Jonson the sum of fifty cents -- Item I give and bequeath unto my son Jacob Johnson the sum of fith centers he having heretofore waived of the equivalent to what I hereafter devise to my other children Item I give and bequeath to my son Moses fifty cents -- Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Stinson and my Grand Daughter Lydia James all my movable property to be equally divided between said Mary Stinson & Lydia James -- Item # I give and devise to my Grandson Moses Johnson the son of my son Moses Johnson one horse and Lott of ground lying and being on the east side of Morgan Town street inUnion Town Fayette County Penn. Contining half an acr to him and said Moses Johnson, his heirs and assigns forever -- and lastly I do hereby Constitute and appoint my true and trusty friend Jacob Ott to be Executor of this my last will and testament -- In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this sescond day of June In the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Fifteen.
