John: Our info is pretty much the same according to my German info. I have the same children for John and Sarah Goodwin Hoffman. Another lady I have talked to does not agree with your findings either but I don't know how she differs. I also have that Philip Hoffman m. Aletha Summers. Philip and Aletha had a son Nimrod Nelson Hoffman who was supposed to be the editor of Morgantown Post in Monongalia Co. of WV. I went there to look for info about him but didn't find what I was looking for. What I have is supposed to be 36 generations of HOffman's and "our ancestors in Germany". You can write to me directly if you want a copy of the info. I hope this is not illegal but here is my email addressif you want to write to me. I also have that John Hoffman had a son named David but I never could prove it. My first David was b. 1746 but I don't know where. He and his 1st spouse Susanna Klein named their first son Johann Jacob b. 1775., their 2nd son David b. 1776 and Elizabeth b. 1778. If you have any help with David it would really be appreciated.
