I have been working on various Huffer/Hoffer/etc. lines on and off for some years now. Only in the past several weeks have I come across and started on descendants of Henry Hoffar/Huffar/Huffer (1804-?) of Jefferson Co TN. I will be adding this line to my Huffer Family website:

Pleasant Allen Hoffar/Huffar (1826-1894) is the oldest child of Henry & his wife Susan/Sally Hawkins for whom I have info. Pleasant married 1st Ellen Rollings in 1844; they had 11 children as best I can determine. Pleasant married 2nd Matilda A. Mullinix in 1865; they had 8 children including John Napoleon Hoffar.
My records show John b. 26 Nov 1868 Prarie Plains, Coffee Co TN; m. 21 Oct 1888 Mollie Mary Parker; had 11 children (Lou Ann, Cora May, Nora Edna, Virginia Maude, and Pleasant Jackson b. in Coffee Co TN; Belle Matilda b. in TX; and Florence, Bessie, Clara Maymie, Fannie Ellen, and Lottie Viola b. in Indian Territory (i.e. OK)).
