Thomas C. Huff, 95, 640 Rock Springs Road, Kingsport,
Sullivan Co TN, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009, in
the Remington House Assisted Living Community.
Mr. Huff was a native of Greene, Co, TN, who had lived in
Johnson City, Washington Co TN, since 1952. Born March 21,
1914, he was the son of the late Clark and Grace Richeson
Huff. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death
by his wife, Rosella Brooks Huff; one sister, Helen Haire;
and one brother, James Huff.
He was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was a
U.S. Army veteran of WWII.
Mr. Huff retired from North Electric as a welder after
twenty years of service.
Survivors include one son, Ron Huff of Johnson City, TN;
one daughter, Frances Burleson of Atlanta, GA; three grand-
children, Scott Huff of Gray, TN, Kristi Huff of Kingsport,
TN, and Len Burleson of Atlanta, GA; two great grand-
children, Matthew Huff and Abagail Huff; and several nieces
and nephews.
Minister, family and friends are requested to meet at the
cemetery by 2:50 p.m., Sunday.
The graveside service for Mr. T. C. Huff will be conducted
at 3 p.m., Sunday, May 3, 2009, in the Monte Vista
Memorial Park. Pastor Ronnie Brashear, Sr. will officiate.
Active pallbearers will be selected from family and
friends. The Bristol VFW Honor Guard will accord military
honors.
