In the name of God Amean I Herculeas Hughey Being Weak of Bodey but of sound Mind and Judgment Do Make this my Last will and Tastment in the Manner and form following------
first of all I give My Soul to God ho give it me and my Body to be Buried in A Christian Menner as my Executors Shal think fit. Secondly I Do give and Bequeth to My Well Beloved Wife Cattren Hughey and My Six Childer Alexander John James and Arculeas Mary and Eleasebth all My Real and Personal Estates Shear and Shear a Like Except one Cow to My Son and Daughter Abrham and Margaret Adams, Thirdly I Do order my Wife and family to Live on the Plantation together that I now Live upon on Oain [Cain] Creek until they Come of age, and if Mary and Eleasebth Should Die before they Come of age their Peart of the Land is to go to the Rest and when they are of age they are to have no Land, and if my son Alexander Comes from Irland and what money he Brings with him or goods of my Property he is to Deliver them up to my Executor or he is to have No Peart of my Estate heare and if my wife Do Marrey She is to have No Shear in any of my Estates save her Bed and Close---and Lastly I do order and Constitute my Beloved tastment and John Crage to Joyn her and see Justise Dun [or Dan] and I Do Renounce all former will and tastments whatsover
