Yes, I know Huet of Mobile was connected to Baptiste through the use of an alias.....Pierre Huet alias Baptiste.
Documentation Pierre's father living Mobile/New Orleans 1745/1746 when Pierre was born. Therefore, not born illegitimate. Numerous documentations of Pierre's first family of at least 2 sons, 4 daughters - all well-established in marriage and occupations.
