GUILLAUME HUET and his wife PERRINE RIVOUET, apparently arrived in Louisiana circa 1720. They are first mentioned in the census of 1721, living on Dauphin Island with their four children. Not long after that, they built a fine plantation for cattle at Bayou La Batre, Alabama. They were probably from Canada, France, or somewhere in the Carribbean.
