Seek the descendants of Catherina Huet, b. c1750, daughter of Francis Huet, who obtained and land grant in SC in 1752-53. Catherina's husband Johan George Hartle sold part of Francis Huet's land c1790 and Catherina signed as dower. There are no other records of Catherina and husband in SC, but many descendants of Francis Huet still resided there in Edgefield, Saluda, Newberry, and Charleston - and today.
