Hilda, I saw your message about Victoriano Huerta. I have researched President Victoriano's family through several sources: the old El Paso newspaper acccounts, the political biography by Dr. Michael Meyer(?) and through LDS files for Colotlan, JAL. The date of his christening matches a Huerta born in Veracruz, but I have not yet found a record that places President Huerta anywhere near Colotlan (that doesn't mean there isn't one, I just haven't seen it, yet). If you can, please tell me more about your father. Do you have any records for him? Or photographs? My Huerta relatives came through Coahuila, also, between 1870 and 1880. There is also a Daniel Huerta in Dallas, that has Huerta descendants that came through Coahuila. I'm interested in learning more about your family.
