James Hudson b 1788, d. June 13, 1849 in Crawford Co, Georgia and John Newton Hudson b 2-28-1873 (too late to be the John Newton Hudson son of John B. Hudson d 1838 and Elizabeth of Laurens Co, but possibly a grandson?) d 6-17-1923 in Macon but buried in wife, Pearl Walker's town of Ellaville, Ga. They also named a son John Newton Hudson Jr.
John B. Hudson died in Laurens Co Ga leaving 3 minor sons, the youngest being John Newton Hudson."Sister Elizabeth"'s death was reported in Christian Advocate, a Methodist publication.One of their daughter's Huldah, married Henry N. Scarborough who became the final guardian for the three minor sons.Thomas Green Hudson became Secty of Agriculture, Leander Milton Hudson became Sheriff of Laurens County, did John Newton Hudson raise a minister?
