Hello

I am researching a Philip Hudgin who married Elizabeth Dennis, probably in Virginia, and was living in Fayette Co., Pennsylvania in 1830. I find the family listed in the 1830 Federal Census for Union Township and/or town.

By 1860s the family is in Greene Co., Pa. The census says he was born in Virginia.

This has been a brick wall since the 1980s. I found a Philip Hudgen/Hudgin listed in the Hudson book and sent for the reference.

He died in the 1860s in Greene Co., Pa. I have his family bible which doesn't give any clues about his parents or place of birth.
