In the obit of a Hudson relative who died in 1929 I found this "The name Hudson connects her with William Hudson, brother of Henry Hudson discover of Hudson Bay and river and at the time of the celebration of the centennial of the discovery she received a beautiful engraved invitation to be present in New York City. So she must have received the invitation in 1909. I have never been able to find much on the descendants of Henry's brother William Hudson except that William married Alice Turner. They had a son Richard baptized Nov 5 1608 and a son Nicholas. Did any of this line come to New England and have descendants that I might be able to connect my line of Hudsons to. I have traced my Hudsons back to a Daniel Hudson who married Joanna White and they both died in Lancaster, Massachusetts in 1697. Does this Daniel connect to William Hudson the brother of Henry the explorer and how does he?
