Peter, Daniel Hudson, Susannah Holland, BURTON, HILL, BOND
There is a most interesting and extensive website called The Virginians at http://www.virginians.com/index.htmhttp://www.virginians.com/index.htm
Among other families it gives the story of a HILL family, and says that Mourning Hill married Peter Hudson.

==============
“Mourning Hill [1656.4.4] married Peter Hudson before 19 October 1755 when together they sold 400 acres Peter inherited from his father to Peter Fontaine Jr.In 1749 Lunenburg County listed him as Peter Hudson Jr.
In June 1762 Peter and Robert Hudson sold 700 acres in Halifax County to Charles Harris of Granville County, North Carolina, for £80.In June 1763 as executor of his father’s estate, he made a deed to ROBERT HUDSON for 400 acres where Robert was living.The same day Robert deeded 150 acres of the tract back to Peter.ROBERT HUDSON was an executor of the estate of Peter Hudson Sr. and was his nephew. Peter Hudson was head of a household of seven whites in Halifax County in 1782 and eight whites in 1785.
4› William Hudson [1656.4.4.1] inherited £15 from his uncle William Hill.”
MARTHA HILL PRIDE HUDSON
“Martha Hill, daughter of James and Ann (Clarke) Hill, was likely the Martha who married first Halcot Pride and second Peter Hudson. Martha’s mother married second as his second wife William Pride, Halcott’s father. Consequently, they grew up in the same household.
Halcott and Martha Pride named their daughters Mary, Jane for her maternal grandmother, and Ann presumably for her paternal grandmother. Among the sons of Peter and Martha Hudson was JAMES HUDSON, for Martha’s father, and among their grandsons was HILL HUDSON. Thus we believe Martha married first Halcot Pride.See their family
Martha married second PETER HUDSON who made a bond to John Towns for £40 with the promise that “the heirs of Halcott Pride, when they come of age, will make over to Towns 150 acres next to John Pride on Butterwood Creek in Goochland County.”On 5 October 1725 Peter Hudson failed to appear in Henrico County court to report on the orphans of Halcott………….”

There is more info, and a listing of the children.What I am very curious about is this entry:
========
“DAVID HUDSON [1656.6.8] inherited 400 acres on Beaver Creek, which he deeded to John Williams in 1762.David Hudson was married to Ann —, likely ANN BOND, when he sold 150 acres on Great Sandy Creek next to JOHN BOND in 1764.Together again they deeded 700 acres on Cargills Creek in Charlotte County to William Hudson of Mecklenburg County and Daniel Hudson of Halifax County 12 May 1766.
David and Ann were living in Craven County, South Carolina, 20 April 1774 when they and MARY BOND sold a tract of land in Charlotte County.”
=========
The above mentioned JOHN BOND who had property on SANDY CREEK in Charlotte Co. is a brother of Philip, Moses, William, and Wright Bond and Jane (Bond) HOLLAND, wife of John Holland of Cumberland, and the mother of JAMES HOLLAND, b. abt 1749, of Charlotte and Thomas Holland, b. abt. 1751, of Halifax.These Bonds are all named in the LWT of William Bond of Cumberland VA, probated in 1759.
Further in 1779 JAMES HOLLAND acquired property on BUFFALO CREEK in Charlotte Co. from his uncle Wright Bond.His immediate neighbors were Agnes (Burton) Hudson, wife of James Hudson, and a Thomas Burton.James Hudson and James Burton were legatees in Peter Hudson I's 1752 LWT.They inherited property on BUFFALO CREEK.In 1782 James Holland and wife, who is identified as SUSANNAH sell some of the BUFFALO CREEK property.Peter Hudson II's 1803 LWT identifies a daughter as SUSANNAH HOLLAND.We only have one Holland in the Halifax/Charlotte area during the 1770s and early 1780s who has a wife named Susannah and that is James Holland.So this is our case for Susannah Holland being Susannah (Hudson) Holland.
If this scenario is accurate, it would appear to us that Susannah's uncle David Hudson married a daughter of James Holland's uncle John Bond.
If anyone on this list has information pertaining to the above, I would really like to share it.I have not done any original research on HUDSON, and having a hard time findinghelpful information on HOLLAND and BOND.Land records seem to give the best clues so far.We think James and Susannah were in 1790 Burke Co. NC, and 1800 Greenville, SC. Census.
