Do you know the parents of Mildred Mela Hudnall? My line traces back through the Hudnalls that settled in Athens County, OH. They started with:

Thomas Hudnall, who was born 1760 in Fauquier County, VA, and died 1843 in Athens County, OH. He married Mary Ann Strickler Abt. 1780. She was born 1763, and died Abt. 1841 in Athens County, OH.

Children of Thomas Hudnall and Mary Strickler are:
i.       Elizabeth 'Betsy' Hudnall, born Abt. 1783 in Fauquier County, VA; died Abt. 1853 in Athens County, OH. She married William Lathey 13 January 1806 in Faquier County, VA; born Abt. 1783 in Fauquier County, VA; died May 1826 in Athens County, OH.

ii.       Joseph Hudnall, born Abt. 1785 in Fauquier County, VA; died 1835 in Athens County, OH. He married Nellie Taylor 29 February 1808 in Fauquier Co., VA; born Unknown; died Unknown.

iii.       Mary Ann Hudnall, born March 1790 in VA; died 15 February 1875 in Athens County OH. She married Samuel Bolin 1809 in Fauquier County, VA; born Abt. 1786; died 30 November 1860 in Athens County, OH.

iv.       Judah Hudnall, born 1792 in Fauquier County, VA; died 1864 in Athens Co., OH.

v.       William Hudnall, born 1798 in Fauquier County, VA; died 27 October 1863 in Athens County, OH. He married Elizabeth Dulin 09 December 1820 in Fauquier County, VA; born Unknown; died 13 February 1863 in Athens County, OH.

vi.       Drusilla Hudnall, born Abt. 1799; died Unknown. She married (1) William Gibson 25 July 1818 in Kanawha Co., VA; born Unknown; died Unknown. She married (2) Joseph Carsey 09 July 1837 in Athens County, OH; born Unknown; died Unknown.

vii.       Susannah 'Susan' Hudnall, born Abt. 1800 in Fauquier County, VA; died Unknown. She married John Spangler 17 February 1818 in Kanawha County, VA; born Unknown; died Unknown.

viii.       Thompson H. Hudnall, born 1801 in Fauquier County, VA; died Unknown in Kanawha County, VA. He married Sabrina Grinstead; born Bef. 1802; died Unknown.

I do not have Mildred Mela Hudnall, but I do not have all the descendants of all the male Hudnalls. If you can link her to any of the above, there is a lot more information on the Hudnall line that is available.
