Roy Huddleston 3/14/04
DL 25/2802 John son of Peter Galle to Richard de Hudeleston : Quitclaim of his right in land in Saltfleetby : (Lincs)
DL 25/2812 Appointment by Henry de Lascy, Earl of Lincoln, of attorneys to receive seisin of John Galle's manor of Saltfleetby, his land there, and the advowson of the church of St. Clement12 Edw. I
DL 25/2823 Richard de Hudleston to Henry de Lascy, Earl of Lincoln : Grant of land in Saltfleetby : (Lincs)
(You would think Henry de Lascy would be making the grant of land to Richard de Hudleston but as you can see it is Richard de Hudleston making the grant of land to Henry de Lascy. This is based on the de Lacys having the land and the Huddlestons just lived there. We don't know if the Huddleston name was taken first by Gilbert or Nigel.)
E 210/1810 William son of William le Mason, chaplain to Nigel son of John son of Ivo, and Beatrice his wife : Wetherby : ( Yorks, W.R. )
E 210/5214 William son of William le Mason, chaplain to Nigel son of John son ot Ivo : Grant of a messuage, etc., in Wetherby. Yorks, W.R.

(The only problem is Nigel alive in 1110 couldn't possibly be still alive in 1285.)
