Huddleston's in Chamblissburg, Bedford County, VA
Am looking for information on Henry Huddleston (born 1775 died 1845) and his son John “Jack” Huddleston.Henry married Martha Loyd on 6 May 1798 in Bedford County, VA.They had 15 children.
I know who Henry's parents are.I would like to know where he is buried and facts about his life in Bedford County, VA.

Will of Henry Huddleston
In the Name of God Amen.I Henry Huddleston of the County of Bedford do make and ordain this My last Will and Testament in Manner and form following towit.Item first, After my death my will and desire ii that my executors herein after named pay all my just debts and funeral expenses-
Item 2nd I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Martha Huddleston during her natural life My dwelling house together with all that Tract or Parcel of land on which I now live adjoining the land of Henry Loyd - Vincent Jordand & others also as Many and such of My Slaves as she may choose to keep, As much of my stock and house hold and kitchen furniture and plantation tools as she may think proper to keep and it is futher My will that my executors herein after named give my wife out of my estate any Money they may think she May need and after My estate shall have passed out of My Executors hands it is my will that each legatee to my estate return to my wife such sums of Money as she may call for on account of support and not otherwise during her natural life that is each one to pay an equal proportion---
Item 3rd I give to my daughter Elizabeth Carnerand the heirs of her Body (lined out - “her husband Elijah Carner.”) one Negro girl Letty at the price of five hundred dollars with her future increase which girl she has had several years in possession, which valuation if she refuses to agree to - she the said Elizabeth Carner and her heirs as aforesaid shall forfeit all further interest in My estate both real and personal.But it is my will if they — said Negro and give My estate Credit by five hundred dollars in that case I further give my said daughter an equal share of My estate with My other Children She first accounting for eighty dollars worth of property heretofore given reserving several small legacies given to my other Children--
Item 4th I give to my two grand daughters Marinda Elizabeth Nobles & Mary Ann Nobles each fifty dollars in a bed and furniture to each when they arrive to the age of 21 years or Marry--
Item 5th I give to my daughter Judith one negro girl Sidna & one bed and furniture to her and the heirs of her own body—
Item 6th I give to my daughter Sarah Nobles one Negro girl Nice and her future increase and one bed &
furniture (lined out - “and two hundred dollars in Money,”) to her and the heirs of her own body—
Item 7th I give to my daughter Martha Ramsey one feather Bed and furniture to her and the heirs of her

Item 8th I give to My daughter Permelia one Negro boy named Mark and if he should die before she arrives at the age of 21 years as much money as judges may say the boy Mark would be worth if he was living and two hundred dollars in money one bed and furniture to her and the heirs of her own body---
Item 9th I give to My son Abraham Huddleston eight dollars worth of property as heretofore given--
Item 10th I give to My son Joel eighty dollars in property which he has received heretofore---
Item 11th I will that my son John eighty dollars in property by him heretofore received and also it is my will that my son John if he Chooses take my half the Tanyard at a fair valuation after My death---
Item 12th I give to My son Henry eighty dollars in property heretofore received by him and it is my will that My son Henry take the land where he now lives if he Chooses at a fair Valuation after my death by disinterested persons---
Item 13th 1 give to my son William eighty dollars in property received by him heretofore---
Item 14th I give to My son Isom eighty dollars worth of property received by him heretofore---
Item 15th I give to My son Richard one horse and saddle to be worth eighty dollars. My will and desire further is that the residue of My estate both real and personal over and above the legacies herein before given be equally divided among My Children and grand Children that is My two grand daughters to receive one share, to my sons Abraham, Joel, John, William, Henry. Lson and Richard to them and their lawful heirs forever And to my daughters Elizabeth, Judith, Sarah, Martha and Permeliia To them and the lenial heirs of their own bodies and none others and my will and desire is that if any of My said Children should die without lawful hens and before they attain the age of 21 years the share of such to return to my estate sad to be devided as above--
Lastly I do hereby nominate Constitute and appoint My two friends William Mead and Thomas Mead Executors of this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all other former wills or testaments by Me heretofore Made. - In witness whereof I have hereunto set My hand and affixed My seal this 30th day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty one.
