Delores,You asked about a Moses Huddleston who married an Ellen Henrick, and who had a daughter, Charity Ann Huddleston, b. 1 Dec 1857.
I have recently been in touch with the County Historian in Wabash County, Indiana. He has informed me about several Huddleston marriages in that county including:
Moses Huddleston to Ellen Henrick14 Oct 1855, Book A Page 405
I was told by family members that Ellen/Ellinor died shortly following the Civil War, and that Moses remarried a Kate M. Hummell, 25 Aug 1868, Book 7, Page 152.
I am just beginning to research this line, so I don't have copies of many of the original records.
I did however find the following families on the 1860 census for Wabash County, Indiana:
P. 38/ 93BWaltz Township
Moses Huddleston25Day LaborerOhio
Ellinor"23House Keeper Ohio

Incidently, the county historian also listed the marriage for
William Huddleston to Susie Armstron, 17 Apr 1851 (but he didn't include book and page nos.)
Moses moved to Muskegon, Michigan around 1870.He died 4 Apr 1902, and is buried in Oakwood Cemetery. His obituary can be found in the "Muskegon Chronical" 5 Apr 1902.
Here are some interesting statements from his obituary.
"He leaves besides his widow four children as follows:Mrs. George (Della) Wood of Harvey, Louisiana; Mrs. H.E. (Nettie) Corey of Colfax, Washington, Harry Huddlestun, Newberry, Michigan; and Fred Huddlestun, Muskegon. Two of these children are by a former marriage. He also leaves a brother Isaac Huddleston of Logansport, Ind. and a sister Mrs. Anna Sweet of Wabash, Ind."
Are you descended from Nettie Corey?Which marriage is she from?Do you have a record of Charity Ann Huddleston's birth in Fort Wayne?Do you know if any other children were born there?Do you have any death information regarding Ellen/Ellinor Henrick Huddleston?
