Willis Huckstep listed his occupation as "farmer" in the 1850 census in Albemarle.
He received two tracts of land in Albemarle by a deed from his grandfather, James Huckstep, dated 25 Sep 1822.
Jacob Watts was the father of Aggie (Agnes)Watts, who married John Huckstep. They were the parents of Willis. Jacob Watts was a Methodist minister.
HOWEVER...
After your inquiry, I looked at some minister's returns of Willis (your couple was not included). The return dated 6 August 1832 includes the phrase "agreeable to the rules of the baptist Church."
I had always had the impression he was a Methodist like his grandfather and this is the only mention I found of his affiliation. You could confirm or refute the Methodist question by contacting the Methodist archives at Randolph Macon College in Ashland, VA.
If you are looking in Fluvanna, then check the ministers' returns there.
