Now where does the "Uber" surname factor in there?
All my life I have had people try to write it as they hear it "Huber". Long lost relatives or two totally different families?
Side note- There was a man by the name of Charles Uber who was a Union soldier held at the Andersonville Prison near Andersonville, GA. He passed away there and was written down in the logs as Charles Uber of New York, but his headstone (made many years later by a seperate group) has him marked as Charles Huber. Makes you wonder how many more mix ups are out there.
