Hello,
I've been looking over the family of Eunice Malinda Hubble Surber and my own great-grandmother's Malinda Unice Meazel and I believe we're closely related.
I've been trying to place your Eunice Malinda and because she was born in Kentucky, 1829, she doesn't fit under Joel Hubble (1771-1844) who never left Virginia as far as I can tell. Two of his sons, William and Joel (1822- came to Pulaski County.
However, my great-great-grandfather was also named Joel Hubble (1803-1870), son of Levi Hubble (1776-1851).Joel Hubble (1803-1870) had sons named Coleman S. and William and a daughter Elizabeth Jane Hubble.
Elizabeth Jane Hubble (1827-1892) named a daughter Malinda Unnis Meazel (spelling from death certificate), in 1857.I have to believe she was named for Eunice Malinda Hubble her apparent aunt.
Coleman is a name that only appears twice to my knowledge in the Hubble family, in both of our families.
