I understand the names in your query, did any of your ancestors move from Bern to America? Do you have a family tree?
I have pictures of three Hubachers homes built about 150 years ago in Galena Illinois USA. I have a pocket watch engraved with my G- Grandmothers name, Lizzie (Elizabeth) Hubacher. Also a small green glass pitcher etched with the name Lucy Hubacher and the year 1903. Lucy was Lizzies daughter and Lizzie was Niklaus' daughter.
