I think there may be a connection to Czechoslovakia going back a ways. My name is Ivana Kucera, I am the daughter of Vera and Daniel Kucera. I live in Canada. We came to Canada in 1968. My mother's maiden name, before she married was: Hruskova (Hruska). Then she married my father, Daniel Kucera (his father was Joseph). My mother's father was: Frantisek Hruska. My mother was born in Plzen, Czech Republic in 1938. I do not know the exact date that her father was born (and I don't have access to any documents). My mother's mother was named: Struncova? before she married Frantisek Hruska (who came from an area near Plzen). There may be a connection? I don't have any further information at this time.
