It sounds like we may be talking about the same familes. Can you tell me what your lineage is? All I have at this point is a death certificate for Anna Eliza Stevens Day. Her daughter, Jennie Day Downes (my great grandmother) filled in Anna's death cert in 1929. It says that Anna's parents were Nathan Stevens and ?? Hoyt. All of Anna's census records say that her father was born in CT, and that her mother was born in NY. Anna was born in 1850 in PA, and died in 1929 in Portland, OR.
