Thank you very much for this information. The information about Matilda was most helpful for I was sure I met her back in 1969, knew she was in CA, even visited her. However, I did not know when she died, thought she died in CA and recently learned her great niece attended her funeral in Rochester NY.
So this confirms both I and the niece were right.
