According to HHH:

(42) William b Aug. 15, 1702: m. Katherine Davis of Haverill, Jan. 1, 1729-30. He removed to Methuen the latter part of 1728, was taxed there in 1736, and sold land there in 1737-8.

His wife Dorothy survived him and probably removed to Methuen with her sons Wm and Philip. (More details of his properties included in HHH)

(15) William was the first son of (3) John and Mary Hoyt.

(3) John was b about 1638; m. Mary Barnes dau. of Wm. and Rachel Barnes, June 23, 1659. (also more in HHH)

(3) John) was the son of (1) John and Frances his first wife. (4-5 pages on John (1) in HHH)

These dates are a little different than you indicate for Capt Wm??? Not sure if it’s same person.

(4267) Capt. William was the son of (3309) David and ____ Hoit. (probably Lucy from dates)

(2858) David was the son of (2679) Samuel and Hannah Hoit.

(2617) Jonathan b. June 7, 1649 at Windsor CT was the son of (2603) Nicholas and Susanna.

(2603) Nicholas, b. 1620-6: m. Susanna Joyce, *June 12, 1646. d. July 7, 1655. (could be July in other (Rowlands’) reference. His wife d. July 4, 1655. They had 4 children at Windsor.

HHH goes on to indicate that Nicholas was the son of (2601) Simon and the brother of Walter. There are 15-20 pages in HHH about Simon and the first generations of Hoyts in CT. Way too much to include here – but much of the information on Simon is fairly widely documented in sources on the net.
