Simon and Jane Hoyte, 1629
In the last month, I have recieved lineage info that takes me back through my Ray roots, into the Hurd and Hoyt/Hoyte families, to Simon and Jane Hoyte, Massachussetts Bay Colony, 1629, supposedly the third ship to arrive, two after the Mayflower, and they helped develop and found Charlestown, Mass.

I am not certain yet which wife's/child's line I am decended from, maybe Walter? I haven't gotten that far yet.
Seems there are a lot of us still around, and a lot came in the years between us, and Simon, Jane and Susannah.
From the Hoyt info on this particular board, it appears I have even more family lineage backward, back to Ireland/Scotland/England.
My Ray line has lawyers, doctors, judges, state representatives and delegates to the Continental Congress, Civil War Adjutants, etc. So...say hello if you wish. I am the last survivor of this particular Ray line.
My Ray line has George, g-g-g/f, Orman, g-g/f, Lyman W., g/f, Pearl O. g/uncle, and James Alan, f, in it.
Regards,
Dave Ray
