Sarah Ellen Hoy was one of thirteen children born to James and Malinda (Skinner) Hoy in Perry County, OH. Ellen was born on 18 March 1859 in Saltlick Twp, Perry County. In 1878, she married Alexander Rosser in Perry County. Alex was born in 1859 in Ohio.
In the 1880 census, Alex and Ellen were listed in Jackson Twp, Perry County. Alex was listed as a miner. They had one young child.
I have been unable to locate the Rosser family after 1880. I have seen a few references to several of their children in central Ohio. Daughter Cleora died in Columbus. Son Floyd died at Camp Sherman. But I find almost nothing else about the family. Does anyone know what happened to Alexander and Sarah Ellen Rosser?
