Hi Alison,
Just saw your posting on Genealogy.Com re Catherine HOY who married Henry John TOWNSEND.
I am fairly certain that the Catherine HOY whom you mention, was actually born 1866 in Walcha, NSW to James HOY and Emily ONION (UNWIN) (from Essex, ENG) Catherine died in 1950 (NSW DEATHS- 32043/1950 TOWNSEND KATHERINE JANUS EMILY URALLA), which also show these parents. Henry TOWNSEND died in 1951 also in Uralla (NSW DEATHS: 25123/1951 TOWNSEND HENRY JOHN JAMES MARY ANNE URALLA ).
Kind regards, Sue (Tropical North Queensland, Australia)
