Hi. I felt compelled to write. My brother's name is also Michael John Howse. Here's what I know: the Howse's are primarily from England and are of local origin. It derived from the place where ancestors of lineage lived. Earliest Howse's date back to 1273. The color Argent (silver) in the coat of arms symbolizes peace and sincerity. It reflects the hopes, ambitions and aspirations of the family. various spellings, Hoose, Howze, Hows.
