The long awaited volumes by Elizabeth Pearson White have been published by Picton Press and are available to order online at www.pictonpress.com including: John Howland of the Mayflower Volume 4 The First Five Generations - Documented Descendants Through his fourth child Elizabeth Howland, wife of Ephraim Hicks and Captain John Dickinson. Elizabeth's first husband Ephraim Hicks died after three months, and no children were produced from the first marriage. Elizabeth and Capt John Dickinson had nine children, who are all listed and described in the book, with their descendant lines at least to the 5th generation. John and Elizabeth Dickinson married in 1651 at Barnstable, Mass, which was the second marriage for both of them, and they later removed to Oyster Bay, New York around 1658-1659. The book is well researched and would be helpful for those who wish to join the Mayflower Society, and are descendants of John and Elizabeth Dickinson, or simply want documented details of these ancestors. My line, for instance, is described to the sixth generation, including: Zebediah Dickinson (6), Zebulon Dickinson (5), Joseph Dickinson Jr. (4), Joseph Dickinson (3), Elizabeth (Howland) (Hicks) Dickinson (2), John Howland (1). This volume is $37.50.
The other volume just published by Elizabeth Pearson White is Vol. 3 Descendants of John Howland through his third child Hope Howland through her marriage to John Chipman. This volume is quite large and lists for $79.50.
