Need Earliest Howington links
I know everyone on this forum has done a lot of research to fing the elusive Howington's. Some of you seem to be professionals or very close to it. I would like to know what the fartherest back anyone has found a DIRECT link for the Howington's,through modern times i.e. 1930. Even if it is misspelled or mispronounced names. As long as the link is established. I believe that there must be some of y'all that have that answer. I have not found any trees in the LDS listings for Howington which tells me none of you have posted you finding with them. I have to believe, like many others that we are all related somehow. Someone came over on "A" boat from probably the United Kingdom. My research into ship manifest have not found any "Howington's" per se. Some possible derivations. So please, let me know what is the earliest link. My family came from Ga. I am back to 1860. 1820 is the earliest Census that shows a Howington in Ga. Ole Wilson. Even back to 1800 there are only two in NC and three in 1810, with one of those in Va. So I find it hard to believe that in those few years and those few ancestors that we are not all linked. Instead of going backwards I am going to try going forward from the earliest. Any help will be appreciated and posted. Thanks
