Looking for parents of James W. Howerton b.Oct 1890 - MO. On 1900 Bates Twp, St. Clair Co, MO census - he is living w/his grparents James (W?) and Mary Jane (nee Mccurry). Was his mother one of the many Combs daughters? Also in household were Rachel P. Combw age 29/single, and James Thomas Combs age 15, two of 12 children of James & Mary Jane.
