Howell of 8706 I think that I connect to the Howells of Kentucky, especially from the following counties: Caldwell, Hardin, Larue, and Nelson. My 2nd Great Grandmother was Eliza P Howell, who married William Riley Stokes. I can not take a Howell Y-DNA test, regardless of which DNA company that I use, because I am not a male Howell. Furthermore, I know of no male Howell. Nor do I know of a male Howell specifically from the Howell line that I am investigating. I wish that I did. Thank you for your help.
