In regards to No. 87, Mahala A. Howdeshell. She was my gg grandfather's second wife. I am not kin to her because I come from his first set of children.
His name was Charles Washington Martin, he was born in VA and moved to Lincoln County, MO east of Moscow Mills in about 1838.
Their children are:
Sidney Renford Martin, born 9 Dec 1846, died 4 May 1886, married Lou Bouldrin (date unknown) buried in Troy, MO City Cemetery.(Lincoln County)
Elizabeth E. Martin, born 19 Nov 1847, died unknown, married Jacob B. Howdeshell on 7 Apr 1861 in Pike County, MO born unknown, died unknown. Not known if any relation to his mother-in-law. buried unknown
Charles Washington Martin II, born 24 Mar 1845, died 26 Dec 1916, married Willie Claiborne Shelton, on 9 May 1875,born 30 Aug 1854, died 13 Jan 1938) both are buried in Troy, MO City Cemetery. (Lincoln County)
