Harold Thanks for offering to send me your data on the Martins. I have about 20-30 of them (married into my lines of Lincoln County, MO) that I feel are related but can't tie them all in. I have one researcher who listed all of Charles W. Martin's children as children of Mahala (but the dates of birth on the first four were before he married Mahala, so I am guessing the first four were children of his first wife?). An article written by J. Mudd named him as Charles William Martin, but you call him Chas. Washington Martin (which one is correct?) Elizabeth E. Martin married Isaac B. Howdeshell (you had him as Jacob B. Howdeshell). Isaac B. Howdeshell was the grandson of Joseph Howdeshell via his son Henry Howdeshell Mahala (mother of his wife Elizabeth Martin)was also a granddaughter of the same Joseph Howdeshell via his son William Howdeshell Joseph Howdeshell>William Howdeshell>Mahala Howdeshell Martin>Elizabeth Martin Joseph Howdeshell>Henry Howdeshell>Isaac Burton Howdeshell who married Elizabeth Martin Hope I haven't confused you. Thanks for all your input, you really tied up some loose ends for me......by the way, I am in O'Fallon MO (about 20 miles outside of Lincoln County, MO) Tina
