Hi Charlaine,
I am a howd from the oneida county area in New York. I am sure since there were many missing family members on our family tree you could say since I have a listing for Alvira Howd b about 1799 as well as other children born to Samuel Howd & Eunice Fuller 1778 in Branford CT, I think 12 children. Do A family web search for Benjamin Howd 1707-1750 and see if you can find a connection, there is a book about the Howd family by Clinton A. Howd.
