Thomas Howard, born Kentucky, resided in ARkansas

Thomas Howard was born in 1865 in Kentucky. I don't know who his parents were. I only know he was white. I know that in 1900 he was married to Synthy, my great grandmother, who aslo went by the spelling Cynthia. They lived in Mineral Township, Sevier County, Arkansas. They were living with a child, aged six, I believe, listed as Jaese Cleary, who was in fact, Jack Cleary, my great grandmother Cynthia's child from a first marriage. Jack would later take Thomas' last name and keep it the rest of his life. Tom and Synthy had a daughter Mayme Howard, who married Ray Hickingbotham, my grandfather. Mayme was born in June of 1901 or 2. Thomas was listed as a sawmill engineer, to the best of my reading of the illegible census for 1900.

In 1910 my great grandmother was married to Eli Beauclair, living in Bowie Twp., Desha County, AR with Jack, listed as Eli's stepson and Mayme as his stepdaughter.

I do not know what happened to my great grandfather Thomas Howard. I suspect he died, but since Arkansas death records were not recorded until 1914, I have not found a death date. I have searched all the cemeteries in Sevier County and I can't find him. I wuld like to know who his family was so I can follow that family line. I would also like to know how he died and where, if, in fact, he passed away and did not just leave the family.

Any help would be greatly appr
