Matewy(Matthew) Stanovnik,b1875 D 1953,and Ana Lenarcic b1878 d 1939 (or 1938)
emigrated to America from Slovenia sometime in early 1900. They were married in Ljubljana Feb. 3 or 13, 1901. They had two children Viktor my father and a daughter Mary.
My maternal Grandmother was Frances Jakse who married Bartel Klemenc in South Chicago, Saint George Church some time early in 1900.All I know about Bartel is that he was in the Austrian Army and loved music. He died when my mother was 6 and she had two younger sisters Fannie and Rose. Does anyone out there know anything about any of my grandparents? J would like to know more aout Bartel Klemence especially. Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on him or any of the others.
