I live in Croxley Green, West of Watford, and my branch of HOWs seem to originate from Bushey, where they have been for some generations. I cannot get back past William How (born c1830) who was married to Louisa Floyd. They had a son Charles HOW in March 1850. Charles was my great grandfather, and he had at least 7 children, most of whom I have charted.
There have been HOWs in Bushey for several hundred years as far as I can see, but I can't seem to establish a link.
can anyone help??
